There are two different transaction flow methods:
I. Payment
If you choose ‘Transaction Mode’ as Payment, transactions will occur automatically. Once the user enters their card details and submits an order, the total order amount will be deducted from their card and automatically transferred to the merchant’s account. Although it may take some time for the amount to reflect in the merchant’s account, the process is entirely automated.
II. Authorization
When you opt for ‘Transaction Mode’ as Authorization, the merchant is required to manually process transactions and accept the payment amount. Capturing funds manually can be carried out through both the WooCommerce Admin interface and the Merchant’s Mastercard Payment Gateway account login.
The WooCommerce Simplify module only supports ‘Hosted Checkout’.
You can select the Embedded Form option or Modal Form option in the drop-down.
Debug Logging: Enable this option to log data into ./wp-content/mastercard_simplify.log. All communications with the Simplify Mastercard Gateway are securely encrypted. You can also download the decrypted log file directly from the plugin configuration page.
Sandbox: Check this option to configure your Merchant credentials for Test mode. In Test mode, you can verify the functionality of payment transactions. Uncheck this option to switch to Live mode. It is possible to add credentials for both test and live modes simultaneously. Each mode has its own set of credential fields, which must be filled out separately. This feature allows you to switch between modes without needing to re-enter your credentials each time.
If you have unticked the ‘Sandbox’ option, then the fields below will be displayed as Public Key and Private Key
Handling Fee: Allows the addition of mandatory or optional extra fees on the checkout page. These fees can be applied as either a fixed amount or a percentage of the subtotal.
